On June 6-10, 2022 Synergía participated in the IX Summit of the America. The event took place in Los Angeles, California. Synergía also facilitated the participation of human rights defenders from a number of CARICOM countries, namely Antigua & Barbuda, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Belize. Synergía and partners attanded the Pre-Summit Civil Society Forum and the inauguration ceremony. During the Summit, Synergía hosted a number of parallel meetings and training activities for civil society activists, and organized meetings with US Government representatives.
During the Civil Society Forum, Synergía and partners contributed to the drafting of the inclusive recommendations of Civil Society and Social Actors in the Working Groups on Health and Resilience and Democratic Governance.
