As the coordinator of the Coalition of LGBTTTI Organizations Working in the Context of the OAS, our work promotes partners’ use of various mechanisms within the Inter-American system for the protection of human rights.
Including the OAS General Assembly, Summit of the Americas, and the work of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) – to increase attention to domestic human rights challenges and to generate regional tools that can be used domestically by partners to address these issues.
