Calls for proposals to advance the implementation of OC-24/17 in Latin American and the Caribbean

Synergía – Initiatives for Human Rights has launched two calls for proposals from civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean interested in advancing the recognition of self-perceived gender identity and the right to form a family, based on the parameters of Advisory Opinion OC-24/17 of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.  

 

The call for proposals ACCESS Change: Promoting the human rights of trans people in Latin America and the Caribbean through the implementation of OC-24/17  is a call made in alliance with the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Trans People (REDLACTRANS) and with Asociación OTD Chile – Organizando Trans Diversidades. This call for proposals is exclusive for trans organizations and the deadline to submit the statement of interest is July 20. Access the full call here.


The call for proposals PRIDE LAC: Promoting Rights, Diversity and Equity in Latin America and the Caribbean through the implementation of OC-24/17 aims to support initiatives in Latin American and Caribbean countries that contribute to the advancement and/or protection of the rights of LGBTIQ+ families.
