Synergía – Initiatives for Human Rights, along with the Coalition of LGBTTTI and Sex Workers Organizations of Latin America and the Caribbean working with the Organization of American States (OAS), deplores with outrage the brutal murder of Andrea González, director of the organization OTRANS Reinas de la Noche and member of the Red Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Personas Trans. Andrea was murdered in a shooting on June 11 in Guatemala City, despite having reported to the police the countless death threats that she had received in the weeks before.
